Chaplain Training

Are you a business who employs Chaplains, but feel like your Chaplains could use some additional training? We provide Basic Training for Chaplains so that they will understand how to work in a multi-faith arena and respect people of all faiths. We also provide Contextualization Modules for a variety of settings such as Corporate, Elder Care, Educational Institutions, First Responders, and many others.

Individual Training

Are you an individual in Ministry who is looking to develop your Chaplaincy skills in order to better serve your people? Our Master’s Level training will prepare you to serve as a Chaplain, and train you to minister in a pluralistic environment. Our Contextualization Module will coach you to serve in the specific environment to which you are called.

Chaplain Recruiting

About Us

Chaplain Kimberly Sawatsky Moses is a lifelong Chaplain, with 22 years’ experience caring for the spiritual needs of people regardless of their faith background. She is the Founder of the Chaplaincy Center of Excellence. Before founding the Chaplaincy Center of Excellence, Kimberly completed a career as a Navy Chaplain including tours at the United States Naval Academy and as the Executive Officer at the Naval Chaplaincy School and Center before retiring from the Marine Corps Special Operations Command. During her time in the Navy, she had the honor of developing nearly 500 Chaplains and mentoring thousands of men and women who served our Nation. By focusing on developing others, Kimberly has been able to use her passion for Chaplaincy and the care of others to create a new opportunity to train the next generation of Chaplains. Kimberly received a Bachelors from Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, and a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL.

When not involved in ministry or training, Kimberly can be found enjoying tea with her husband, playing with her daughter, digging in the garden or reading a book.

Dr. Rene’ L. Sawatsky is a lifelong Educator with 34 years of classroom experience. 

 

She received a Bachelor’s degree from Trinity College and began teaching in the Minnesota Elementary School System.  When Rene’ and her husband and four children moved to Texas, she became certified in the Texas School System and taught 5th Grade Reading at Caddo Mills ISD, Caddo Mills, TX.  She was also the Team Lead, PLC Leader, and a Mentor Teacher.  Her eight years of teaching experience at Caddo Mills led her to pursue a Masters of Education, receiving a degree from Lamar University, Beaumont, TX in 2011. 

 

In 2015, Rene’ became the Assistant Principal at Blue Ridge ISD, Blue Ridge, TX, where she gained valuable experience in curriculum assessment and procurement, monitoring of teacher instruction using TTESS evaluation system, developing reading and writing curriculum for the elementary campus, coordinating the UIL academic programs and a host of other responsibilities.  This experience motivated Rene’ to complete a Doctor of Education from Texas A&M University - Commerce, Commerce, TX, graduating in May 2021.  Dr. Sawatsky has worked as an Ad Interim Instructor at Texas A&M University – Commerce, and currently is Adjunct at Collin College, Farmersville, TX.

 

Her experience in various levels in the Texas Education System, has prepared her to train  Chaplains coming into the Texas School System on how they can best fit into a challenging environment and be a value added team member in the ISD to which they are assigned. 

 

Perhaps Rene’s greatest achievement however, is her marriage of 35 years to Kevin Sawatsky, and their four wonderful children and two grandchildren.
